Description of Significance BUILT IN 1913 AS A SALUTE TO ELECTRICITY, THE ELECTRIC PARK PAVILION IS A SINGLE STORY BEAUX-ARTS STYLE BUILDING. THE BUILDING IS STUCCO AND RETAINS MANY OF ITS ORIGINAL WOOD WINDOWS. THE BUILDING HAS EXPERIENCED OTHER ALTERATIONS, SUCH AS REPLACEMENT OF ORIGINAL DOORS AND CHANGES TO THE WINDOW CONFIGURATION. THE BUILDING WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED TO SERVE AS A THEATER. ITS AUDITORIUM AND OTHER SPACES SERVE VARIOUS COMMUNITY FUNCTIONS, PROVIDING MEETING AND OFFICE SPACE TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND TO INDIVIDUALS. LISTED IN THE NATIONAL REGISTER, 9/29/1976.
